Hear what our Patients say

“Hands Down, the Best of the Best”

I have to say hands down she's one of the most caring doctors one could go to! She's warm, takes time to listen & understand, makes sure her patients do not leave with any unanswered questions. The best of all She Truly Cares About Her Patients- hard to find a genuine doctor like her!!

Rare find !!

I became a patient less than a year ago and was relieved to have found the perfect doctor from the very first visit. Dr. Jafar provides old-fashioned personal care with new-fashioned expertise, rare in today's medical environment. She is very intelligent, a very good doctor, and a very nice person. Her office manager and assistant complement Dr. Jafar perfectly, combining efficiency with grace and humanity. One could not ask for a better experience.

Irene S

"Changed my life"

Dr. Jafar is an amazing woman. I swear she has saved my life!! I walked in her office desperate for help to change my life and I walked in the right door. With addiction having a huge stigma in society it is difficult to find a place to go where you will not be judged n treated with compassion n respect. She takes her time to listen to your needs and being honest open minded and willing her care plan has given me my life back . Thankyou Dr. Jafar and your staff for your excellent professional care n understanding. I am so grateful and blessed to be your patient and have found a new healthy way to live!!!

Recovery without the Spotlight

Many Methadone clinics now offer Suboxone treatment too. Are you avoiding treatment because you are afraid that your friend or Colleague may see you at a Methadone clinic?

You don't have to any more

The public perception and stigma surrounding Methadone clinics can sometimes create discomfort. Being seen entering a Methadone clinic even when receiving Suboxone, may lead others to make assumptions about your treatment or health history and this may create anxiety

Tele visits offer patients a key benefit that in-person options can't: "Anonymity"

Unlike Methadone clinics, Suboxone practices operate within "office style" settings and Patients can get Suboxone prescribed even by their PCP instead of having to go to special clinics with less risk of unwanted assumptions by othersFor patients who value discretion, this difference can be meaningful

At Medivira you can get treatment from the comfort and privacy of your own room and "no one else will know". Patients who previously were avoiding treatment because of "stigma" of Addiction with in-person visits, can now get help

Early treatment may help prevent complications. Book your appointment now
