Dr SALEHA JAFAR,MD
is the President and Founder of Neon Medical careShe completed her residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in 1998. Dr. Saleha Jafar is Triple Board certified in Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She is also a certified Medical Marijuana Practitioner by the NY State Department of Health. She has 27 years of Medical Experience and has been in the Newburgh, NY area since 2000
Her areas of special interest include: Primary care, Obesity Treatment, substance abuse treatment, acute and chronic medical care management , Women's health, STD/STI , Suboxone treatment for those struggling with opioid dependence including pregnant patients with Opioid use disorder and Medical Marijuana Certification.
She has several years of experience treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including Major Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Insomnia and adult ADHD
Dr Jafar understands that every patient is different and requires an individual approach. She employs evidence-based latest treatment technologies to provide her patients with the highest quality of care.
